About the Event
The Citywide Youth Service Day is presented by the City of Dallas Police Department, Park and Recreation, and Youth Commission. Join us at Southern Skates Roller Rink! This event-packed Saturday is an opportunity for youth and first responders to work one-on-one to build communications and better relationships. Learn how you can work together and make your neighborhood shine bright by completing hands-on service projects. Officers participating in the City Wide Youth Safe Conversations workshop will receive 2 free TCOLE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement) hours. First Responders will be matched with a student for the morning workshop and then assigned a project.
Requirements: We will be collecting your PID number onsite at the day of service. You will need to sign a special form and complete a TCOLE post evaluation survey form. If the officer doesn’t complete the survey they will not receive the TCOLE hours. If you have any additional questions; please feel free to contact Kimberly Knight at kimberlyknight@relationshipsfirst.org
