What is the Multicultural Celebration?
The Multicultural Celebration is an initiative created by Hilton Sampson, the District 15 Youth Commissioner. His goal is to introduce the different cultures in Dallas to teens in order to increase their understanding and knowledge of the city's diverse cultures. What better way to do this than on the World Day for Cultural Diversity? This event is set to take place on May 25th and is expected to have several artisans, food vendors, and cultural performances for the attendees.
