Due to Covid-19, at the end of last school year, schools essentially had to switch from in-person schooling to online- virtual learning, which was quite a significant change. Many students, teachers, and parents struggled with the drastic switch.
Since March of 2020, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases have increased significantly. So much so that the government had a lockdown, confining everyone who was non-essential to stay in the homes, unless it was necessary. Because numbers of confirmed cases are still on the rise,
Dallas ISD has launched a reentry and safety plan for the upcoming school year, They have made a list of precautions and safety tips to prevent the spread of Covid-19 throughout schools and students. The district believes that this would be the most effective way to save money, reopen schools, and keep everyone safe and healthy.
