Young Leaders, Strong City Summit



Young Leaders, Strong City (YLSC) is an annual racial justice & equity youth summit that brings together high school students from across Dallas to explore institutional racism through a range of issue areas. YLSC provides an unprecedented platform for students to network with peers, local advocacy organizations, and cultural workers. Every year, YLSC strategically recruits Dallas-area students from public, private, charter and magnet high schools as well as community organizations. Facilitated by local and national leaders in social justice, students engage with their peers across the city, and is always free.  Please nominate 3-5 students from your campus who have either demonstrated leadership experience or untapped natural leadership abilities. This free, one-day summit will include interactive workshops and meaningful, constructive discussions on race, racial identities, racism and racial equity. This year's summit be held:

Saturday, October 24 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Zoom Information will be sent prior to summit
